Score Capture Instructions

This tournament is part of a research program. It is vital that all data be accurate.

This event is now online and every team angler must submit their captures online via the Track My Fish App.

The "Track My Fish" program is integral to the Flathead Classic tournament, designed to enhance the event's efficiency and participant experience. Here's how it functions:

  1. Catch Tracking: Participants use the program to record details about their catches, including the species and size of each fish. This real-time tracking helps ensure that all entries are accurately logged.

  2. Live Leaderboards: The program updates live leaderboards based on the data submitted by participants. This feature allows competitors to see their standings and the progress of others throughout the tournament.

  3. Data Accuracy: The program uses digital records to minimize errors that can occur with manual entry, helping maintain fairness in the competition. It also ensures that all data is easily accessible for review.

  4. Streamlined Scoring: The program automates the scoring process, reducing the time required to calculate and verify results. This allows for faster updates and announcements of winners.

  5. Participant Engagement: Competitors can access their own stats and track their progress over the course of the tournament, enhancing their engagement and enjoyment.

  6. Event Management: The program provides valuable insights into participation patterns, fish caught, and other metrics for organizers to use for future planning and improvements.

Notes:

Refer to the information below on photographing your fish to ensure it’s uploaded correctly.

Each day every team must complete and submit their captures by the nominated times (Wednesday and Thursday 4:15pm and Friday 2:15pm). No scores submitted after these times will be accepted.

If you capture a fish that has previously been tagged, please record and photograph the tag number and other relevant details and release the fish with the tag intact.
