XXXX Returns in 2024 as Ultimate Beer Partner
The Gold Coast Flathead Classic is thrilled to announce the return of XXXX as the ultimate beer partner for the 2024 event. Building on last year's success, XXXX is back with the exciting new XXXX Gold Rush collaboration.
When you spend more than 140 years in the hands of thirsty Aussies, you're going to pick up a few stories along the way. From helping out Queenslanders doing it tough to striking gold and buying an island, XXXX Beer has had quite the ride. The legendary tale started in 1878 when brothers Nicholas and Edward Fitzgerald pursued their dream to create the finest ales. They started in Castlemaine, Victoria, and later moved to Brisbane for a better brewery and warmer weather. The first beer sold on September 13th that year marked the birth of the Castlemaine Brewery, now known as the home of XXXX. Originally producing XXX Sparkling Ale, the brewers perfected their recipe in 1893, earning a fourth X and establishing the XXXX name we know and love today.
What is the XXXX Gold Rush Competition? I hear what you say! Hosted by Nigel Webster, Publisher and Producer at Tackling Australia, the XXXX Gold Rush Competition promises to be a highlight each evening at this year's Classic .
Here's how it works:
Night 1: 40 teams compete, 20 advance.
Night 2: 20 teams compete, 10 advance.
Night 3: The final 10 teams compete for the grand Prize.
Prizes include:
First Prize: XXXX beer for a year and a half-day Captn's Charters fishing experience.
Second Prize: Fishing charter for two with Double Island Point Fishing Charters.
Third Prize: $250 Liquor Legends gift card.
Entry Details:
Cut Off: 40 two-man teams
Cost of Entry: $100 per team
The competition is a collaboration between XXXX, BONZA Graphics, Liquor Legends, Captn's Charters, Double Island Point Fishing Charters, and the Gold Coast Flathead Classic.
As anglers compete in the Classic, attendees can look forward to a sea of yellow illuminating the event hub. XXXX Beer's presence and refreshing brews will enhance the vibrant atmosphere.
