A combination of both River and Reef.  Once our guests are onboard we steam off immediately out into the reefs of the Torres Straits and spend some chasing bottom fish and pelagic, if the weather is not so great we can head down the eastern side of Australia  towards Escape River past the tip of Australia and try our luck with the barramundi, big jacks & mud Crabs. Fishing will be a combination of tenders and/or of the main vessel MV Alfred Wallace.

Targets Species

Rivers – Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Queenfish, Giant Trevally, King Salmon, Threadfin Salomon, Grunter and the crowd favourite Mud Crabs

Reef systems – Coral Trout, Red Throat Sweetlip, Red Emperor, Large Mouth Nannygai, Gold Band Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Dogtooth Tuna, Sailfish & Marlin

Cost is $3,300 pp Inc GST – Ex Horn Island Min of 10 is required for this trip
