Surf Coast Marine talking to Jason Swain
We recently spoke to Jason Swain about his 460 Renegade, family life and fishing the Flathead Classic.
Jason, who has individually placed in the top 3 for the last two years, during the Gold Coast Flathead Classic visited the Surf Coast Marine display a few years back during the Gold Coast Marine Expo and took advantage of the on-water testing program at the show.
Initially looking at the 420 Renegade, he loved the boat but, needed something bigger.
“My family and I love being on the water, taking part in the usual water sports like skiing and tubing, but we especially love to fish so we needed something that would allow us all to go out and cast a line together.”
Jason, and his family of 5 then went on to test the 460 Renegade, and it was a winner on all fronts.
“We initially tested the 420 Renegade and it was a fantastic boat, but as we are a family of 5, we needed a bit more room. We stepped aboard the bigger 460 Renegade and it was a perfect fit for us” Said Jason.
“The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. The Team at Surf Coast Marine were extremely helpful and explained to us the advantages of purchasing a boat, motor and trailer package from them, without the hard sell that can often push you away from a deal”.
Jason and his family purchased the 460 Renegade and packaged it with a 75 E-Tec, returning to Surf Coast Marine’s Brisbane Road dealership for each engine service.
